Should You Empty Your Hot Tub or Keep the Water When You're Not Using It? 🤔

Many people think it's cleaner to drain the hot tub after every use. In reality, keeping the water in the hot tub is usually the better choice.

Here's why:

💧 The water is filtered automatically every day.
Your hot tub's circulation and filtration system continuously removes dirt and small particles, helping keep the water clean.

✨ The ozonator works together with chlorine.
The ozonator produces ozone, which helps sanitize the water and reduces the amount of chlorine needed. Together, they keep the water clear, fresh, and safe. It only takes a few minutes to add chlorine twice a week.

🛁 It's always ready when you are.
There's no need to refill the tub, wait for it to heat up, or rebalance the water chemistry every time you want to relax. Just open the cover and enjoy.

🚫 Draining the hot tub too often can create more work.
Frequent draining means more cleaning, refilling, reheating, and rebalancing the water. It also wastes water and time.

Our recommendation:
Keep the water in your hot tub and let the filtration and sanitation system do its job. With proper maintenance, you'll enjoy clean, crystal-clear water that's ready whenever you need to unwind.

Another successful installation of the MILA Hot Tub in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan. 🇹🇭

A big thank you to our wonderful customer for choosing Q&G Hot Tub.

With a lifestyle centered around golf, swimming, and enjoying the breathtaking mountain views behind his home, our customer understands the true value of a premium hot tub experience.

Interestingly, some of his friends questioned the decision: “Why install a hot tub when you already have a swimming pool?”

The answer is simple. Having previously owned and used three hot tubs, our customer knows that a swimming pool and a hot tub serve completely different purposes. While a pool is perfect for exercise and recreation, a hot tub provides the therapeutic benefits of warm water and targeted hydrotherapy massage that help relieve muscle tension, improve recovery, and promote deep relaxation.

The MILA Hot Tub was the perfect choice, delivering an exceptional full-body massage experience—from the shoulders, mid-back, lower back, and waist to the hamstrings, calves, and even the soles of the feet.

Thank you once again for trusting Q&G. We are delighted to be part of creating a healthier, more relaxing lifestyle for your family.

💦 The Most Important Part of Hot Tub Maintenance: Cleaning the Filters 💦

One of the most important things you can do as a hot tub owner is keep your filters clean. We always recommend that our clients pay special attention to filter maintenance because, in our opinion, the filter is the heart of the hot tub.

When filters become clogged, they can cause a range of problems, including:
✔️ Reduced water circulation
✔️ Dirty or cloudy water
✔️ Water not heating properly
✔️ Increased stress on the circulation pump, which can lead to costly repairs

The good news is that maintaining your filters is quick and easy. Simply remove the filters and rinse them thoroughly with a garden hose. Spending just 10–15 minutes on this simple task can help keep your water crystal clear and ensure your hot tub continues to operate efficiently.

A little maintenance goes a long way toward protecting your investment and enjoying a clean, relaxing hot tub all year round.
