The History of Washing: PRIMAT vs KREBE TIPPO What Has Changed? ⚙️

🔹 ⚙️ Machine design
Older machines were built with a strong focus on robust mechanical construction. Today, that robustness is combined with advanced engineering, improved ergonomics, and smarter machine design.

🔹 🌀 From centrifuges to high-speed extraction
Traditional centrifuges were an important part of the laundry process. Today, modern washer-extractors combine washing and high-speed extraction in one machine, reducing handling and processing time.

🔹 🎛️ From manual control to smart control
Then: operators had to control and monitor many processes manually.
Today: advanced controls, programmable washing recipes, and automation help make processes more consistent, repeatable, and efficient.

🔹 💧 Water & energy efficiency
Modern machines are designed to achieve the required washing results while using resources more efficiently — helping laundries reduce water, energy, and chemical consumption.

🔹 📊 From washing machines to connected systems
Today's industrial laundry is not only about individual machines. Machines can become part of a smart laundry process, where data, automation, and process control work together.

🔹 🤖 And the future?

More automation. More data. More intelligent processes.
But one thing remains essential: reliable engineering.

Friday Fun Fact — How Long Would You Need to Wash One Industrial Machine Load? 🤔

Let’s do the numbers! 🔢

That’s a huge difference in processing time, capacity, and efficiency. 🚀

Industrial laundry isn’t just about washing more linen — it’s about processing larger quantities efficiently and reliably. 💪

📊 What’s your washing quantity?

Let’s do the numbers!

*Actual cycle times depend on the selected programme, linen type, load, and operating conditions.
