The Folio headboard was designed to solve a bedside problem. Many bedside tables are either too big or too small to be useful. Instead of adding another nightstand to the room, the Folio headboard has a built in ledge, sandwiched between two upholstered panels to hold your bedtime routine.

We’ve a new headboard design with a built in bedside table: The Folio Headboard!

The Folio features a recessed ledge sandwiched between two upholstered panels, giving you a space for your phone, a book, glasses or your favourite balm without needing a separate bedside table.

Every once in a while, we get a fabric request from designers (not all of you though!) asking for something other than colour or texture.

No “shine” please.

Synthetic fibres like polyester are engineered to be perfectly round which is exactly what makes them reflect light and look “manufactured.”

Natural fibres like cotton, linen, and wool are imperfect by nature, scattering light instead of bouncing it which is why they read as matte, and matte reads as luxury. No coincidence that natural fibre fabric are also more expensive.

A finished fabric means your furniture upholstery has a protective coating. This makes it easy to maintain and easy to clean whenever there’s a stain.

So why would anybody choose to have an unfinished fabric? Unfinished fabric shows natural colour depth and texture more accurately. Designers who know prefer this for a richer, less “manufactured” appearance.

We are almost certain when a client asks us for deep storage under their bed, they almost certainly own a Rimowa trunk. Customers like them inspire us to include a recessed base detail to make storage beds look less like a storage bed. Head over to our website and check out our Tidy storage bed. If you have a small bedroom, consider this design hack that will actually work, pinky promise! 🤙 This custom built wall mounted headboard stretches horizontally across the wall to make rooms feel bigger. Half height instead of full height adds contrast AND personality to an otherwise stifling space. if you’re planning a makeover, this is one of the easiest wins.

You know you’re in your mid life era when you obsess over back support and firm seat cushions. We custom made this sofa for a client who knew exactly what they wanted from ergonomics to aesthetics. What strike us was how much confidence they had making the decisions they did. That in itself should be a superpower!

Nine pieces in nine different fabrics, textures and colours. This is possibly the most colourful sofa we were commissioned to make. It looks chaotic but it really is intentional.

This 9 piece set is stackable and rearrangeable to our client’s whim and fancy

Conversation pits were quite the thing in the 1970s and boy are we glad Singapore designers like have brought back this furniture icon and made the concept work in a small living room.

The ingenuity here is that the designers at didn’t need a lot of space to pull off the spirit of the sunken living room look. The effect was created with a clever built in banquette and arranging soft feather filled cushions that face inwards.

We only had to ensure the cushions were cut and upholstered and filled to size. Our clients also chose a stain and water resistant recycled linen fabric from to complete the look
