Conversation pits were quite the thing in the 1970s and boy are we glad Singapore designers like have brought back this furniture icon and made the concept work in a small living room.

The ingenuity here is that the designers at didn’t need a lot of space to pull off the spirit of the sunken living room look. The effect was created with a clever built in banquette and arranging soft feather filled cushions that face inwards.

We only had to ensure the cushions were cut and upholstered and filled to size. Our clients also chose a stain and water resistant recycled linen fabric from to complete the look

We designed and made the Together sofa for our furry overlords but you don’t need a pet to use this sofa. Our client, like many before her, bought this for her and her family even though she doesn’t have pets, because it just made sense.

We are impressed when a designer and their client commits to a purple sofa or bed because it’s not an obvious choice. We are further impressed seeing a purple sofa in real life, the richness, the personality nothing like what we capture in photos and videos.
t_interiordesign chose this aubergine in cotton velvet in the softest sofa in our collection. If it looked odd, it’s because this sofa was made shallower to fit in our client’s games room.
