🇿🇦🤝On Mandela Day, ACWA Power’s South Africa teams in Johannesburg and at Bokpoort CSP joined hands with community partners to drive meaningful change.
In Grootdrink, Northern Cape, our collaboration with Substance Solutions, the Department of Social Development, and SAPS focused on sharing prevention strategies and support pathways with residents around substance abuse along with visiting a local soup kitchen supporting the Grootdrink community. We are proud to share that 300 community members received hot meals at Bokpoort and around 150 individuals received hot meals at Redstone.
By creating spaces for dialogue, supporting local initiatives, and fostering opportunities for growth, we continue to stand with the communities that power our shared future. Mandela Day was a moment to reaffirm our commitment to compassion, dignity, and shared responsibility — values that guide our work every day, wherever we operate.
