Brush is a continuation of the artist's hand. The quality of work depends on a properly selected instruments (and talent, of course). We have prepared some tips for choosing brush. ⁣⁣⠀
⁣⁣⠀
Let's start with what you need brushes for, that is, what colors you plan to paint.⁣⁣⠀
⁣⁣⠀
🎨WATERCOLOR. Soft natural brushes are required to hold water very well. Popular brushes for watercolor are squirrel (the softest, the water is kept best) and kolinsky (water is given away easier, the pile has a tougher).⁣⁣⠀
⁣⁣⠀
🎨OIL. For oil painting are used coarse brushes, because they are resistant to solvents. Of natural fibers, this is pork bristles (white coarse pile) and, kolinsky. How much the kolinsky brush actually "lives" is reliably unknown to anyone, because each artist writes on different bases, different techniques and different in volume of work. The synthetic brush gives smooth beautiful swabs, but somehow quickly fails after washing in solvents.⁣⁣⠀
⁣⁣⠀
🎨ACRYLIC AND TEMPERA. Here the first place is given to synthetic brushes, well, or brushes with a mixed pile (natural + synthetics). ⁣⁣⠀
⁣⁣⠀
🎨GOUACHE. Since the paint is dense enough, very soft brushes are not suitable for it. It is better to choose synthetics, goats or kolinsky for wet application of paint and bristles for dry, for the study of grass, trees and clouds.⁣⁣⠀
