Wear of fuel pump components is a natural process in the operation of marine engines. The pre-supply pump shaft of the MAK20 often works under harsh conditions and is exposed to abrasion and corrosion.

👉 Instead of replacing it with a new one, an effective solution is metallizing. This process allows us to:
✅ Rebuild the worn surface,
✅ Restore the original dimensions,
✅ Protect the shaft against further wear,
✅ Extend the service life of the pump and reduce operating costs.

After metallizing, the shaft undergoes precise machining to achieve perfect fitting.
