Gul Plaza Tragedy – Latest Update (Karachi)
The devastating fire at Gul Plaza has shaken the entire nation. According to the latest official reports:
• Confirmed deaths: At least 28 people
• Still missing: Around 80+ individuals
• Identification process: Ongoing through DNA testing due to severe burn injuries
• Official list of victims: Not fully released yet because many bodies are still being identified
Authorities are collecting DNA samples from families to help match and identify the victims. Several names have appeared in missing-person appeals, but these do not yet confirm deaths.
This tragedy highlights the urgent need for better safety systems, accountability, and emergency preparedness.
