When we thought about whose creation should greet guests at the blessing of Reviva's new home — on Philippine Independence Day, of all days — one name came to mind.
Happy Andrada
A designer who studied at Central Saint Martins in London. Who has carried Filipino fashion to London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Seoul, Tokyo, Amsterdam, and beyond. A National Commission for Culture and the Arts Ani ng Dangal awardee. International Artist of the Year. And through all of it — every runway, every award, every stage — someone who has remained deeply, unmistakably, proudly Filipino.
Her creation, which we called Heritage Creation, stood at the entrance of Reviva yesterday afternoon. Beside it, we placed these words — our own tribute to what her work represents:
"This piece celebrates Filipino craftsmanship and identity, blending tradition with contemporary elegance. In harmony with Reviva's philosophy of 'Life in Every Fiber,' it reflects the artistry and resilience woven into our cultural heritage — preserved, honored, and carried forward with care."
Indigenous Filipino weaving as the foundation. Hand-sequined florals in full bloom across the surface. The masterful use of fabric that has always been her signature. A garment that does not simply dress a body — it carries a culture.
These are precisely the pieces Reviva was built to care for.
Hydroclean® — our water-based, biodegradable wet cleaning process brought to the Philippines from Kreussler — was made for garments like these. For indigenous weaves that cannot be entrusted to harsh chemical solvents. For intricate sequins and beadwork that must never lose their brilliance. For the wearable masterpieces that Filipino hands create and Filipino hearts cherish.
Ms. Happy — what you create deserves to last forever. We will do our part to make sure it does.
Maraming salamat po. 🤍🇵🇭
Still Yours. Always Filipino.
