'𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧'
In a heartfelt message, Dr. Ersyl T. Biray inspires the College of Teacher Education and Laboratory High School faculty and students during the Orientation Program at Banga Campus Amphitheater, August 31.
“To my students in the BSEd program, no matter how or what is your specialization, and the laboratory high school, you are here in my heart and I miss CTE so much,” he said.
Dr. Biray also shared that he had served the ASU community for 34 years, beginning as a principal of the Laboratory High School and an adviser of the Eamigas Publication.
“During my time as adviser of the Eamigas I have produced four IWAG awardees, one Ms. COPRE, and some other promising writers,” he added.

He has also been awarded as the Best Performing School Paper Adviser in Western Visayas by the Philippine Information Agency Region VI in 2004,
During his time as the Eamigas Adviser, the publication has received two (2) consecutive awards as Tourism-Oriented Campus Publication by the Department of Tourism Western Visayas; the certificates are displayed in the gallery of the ASU Library.
He also highlighted his role as the dean of School of Arts and Sciences in forging close ties with the College of Teacher Education.
Dr. Biray has been recognized with various international awards and was recently bestowed with the prestigious 1st Silver Laurel Award by the Institute of Industry and Academic Research Incorporated.
