Oct 20 - Now on its 3rd Year, Envirokonsult, Municipality of Bay, and Puypuy Elementary School (Puypuy ES) signed the Adopt-a-School Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) of the 100-day Feeding program for 60 undernourished students of Puypuy ES.

The MOA Signing was held at the Municipal Mayor's Office where Mayor Bruno T. Ramos and council, Brgy. Puypuy Council, Puypuy ES Principal Ma. Luz Lumitao and staff were in attendance.

Envirokonsult was represented by Account Manager/ Pollution Control Officer Debbie Vizcarra Simsuangco, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator Vicky Dineros, and CSR Staff.

Mayor Ramos commended Envirokonsult for its continuous dedication on health, education, and advocacy for children. He is also willing to support future CSR activities of the company.

At Puypuy ES, Envirokonsult was welcomed by children-beneficiaries through a song greeting. As per Principal Lumitao, the feeding program just started and closely monitored everyday.

During the afternoon session, parents participated the "Masustansyang Buhay" Seminar c/o Ms. Debbie wherein parenthood and giving over-all nourishment to children became the focus of discussion.

Parents were divided into groups during the ice breaker on "The Qualities of a Good Parent". Some parents were touched when they explained each quality as they relate it to their personal experiences at home.

Individual activity comprised of questions on "How well do they know their child?".

Ms. Debbie discussed how parents could help support their children's well-being especially on health and nutrition.

The seminar ended through a Parent's Covenant and an inspiring prayer by Ms. Naty Pia of Puypuy ES.

Oct 19 – A blessed day for Gedang Group as it signed the 1st Adopt-a-School Feeding Program with Balara Elementary School (Balara ES) in Brgy. Pansol, Quezon City.

100 undernourished kindergarten students serves as beneficiaries for the 90-day Feeding Program which was launched last October 16 and will culminate on March 14, 2018.

Present in the MOA Signing are Balara ES, Principal Natividad V. Nacino and teachers, Brgy. Pansol Secretary of Head Admin. Rain Cruz, kindegarten pupils and parents.

Gedang Group were represented by President/ CEO Anthony V. Gedang, Business Admin. Support and Services Annabelle V. Gedang, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator Ma. Victoria Dineros, and CSR Staff.

Pres. Gedang said that aside from nutritional growth, children should also be whollistically nourished encompassing their mental, social, spiritual, emotional and physical aspects.

He agrees to offering more social activities, field trip and gift-giving in November and December of this year.

Principal Nacino, in behalf of Balara ES, were grateful for the partnership with the Gedang Group and gave their full support to the Feeding Program.

Kindergarten students showed their talents through coming in their United Nations costumes and performed “Baby Shark” dance number.

Gedang group promises to return to Balara ES before Christmas for its 1st Gift-giving activity on the said school.
