As both the owner and a customer of our laundry shop, I give myself extra time to sort my dirty laundry.
Here are my reasons: ⬇️
🧺The laundry shop attendants don’t know my clothes,I ensure that the laundry isn’t mixed up, keeping dark and light colors separate. (This is often a problem because some customers want everything in one load, but I prefer to keep whites and colors separate for better cleanliness.)
🧺 I remember everything I’ve had laundered, so if something is missing, I can inform them, especially with small items like socks and handkerchiefs etc..
🧺I’m not embarrassed to bring my laundry since I’ve already sorted it and noted any stains, letting the staff know if something can be cleaned or not. This prevents issues where customers blame attendants for stains on clothes they provided.
🧺I also make notes if I don’t want fabric conditioner or detergent on certain items.
🧺This way, I can easily estimate how many loads I’ll be paying for, making budgeting simpler.
