Most shampoo and conditioner comes in a form of bottles that are made of plastic. A 150ml bottle lasts up to 30-50 washes, but only 9% of this gets recycled. This means that 91 out of 100 bottles end up in our oceans or landfills. It doesn't mean that we have to continue this cycle. By shifting to environmentally-conscious products like shampoo and conditioner bars, we can get to a point where bottles are no longer needed for general consumption.
