Look | The Nueva Ecija League of Market Administrators, Inc. (NELMA), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry – Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, conducted a Training on the Rules Governing the Calibration of Fuel Dispensing Pumps on November 6, 2025.
This activity marked the first province-wide initiative of its kind and was attended by 28 out of 32 LGUs, together with 302 gasoline station owners and operators.
The event was graced by Cabanatuan City Mayor Myca Elizabeth R. Vergara, who expressed her full support for initiatives that strengthen the local business environment while safeguarding the welfare of consumers.
In his message, Acting Provincial Director Warren Patrick T. Serrano emphasized the importance of proper fuel pump calibration in ensuring fair trade practices and guaranteeing that consumers receive the correct value for their money.
Engr. Norlito Tiglao served as the resource speaker and effectively explained the regulations and technical procedures governing fuel pump calibration, providing participants with clear guidance for compliance and enforcement.
This training stands as a significant advancement in Nueva Ecija’s ongoing efforts to uphold consumer rights and reinforce accountability among fuel retailers.
