Your style has a thousand words!
WHAT THE FACT?!
Traditional Filipino clothing, with origins in the pre-colonial period, reflects the country’s cultural heritage. For men, the Barong Tagalog is a lightweight, embroidered shirt worn untucked, from natural fibers. Women traditionally wore the Baro’t Saya—a blouse and long skirt combination—or the Terno, a gown with butterfly sleeves influenced by Spanish colonization. Various indigenous groups also have unique garments, like the Basi loincloth worn by the Ifugao people, each representing social status and cultural identity.
