Our Story

Aidu was the name of my pet dog, who accidentally stepped on a “bluel” - a blue powder substance used for washing clothes in the belief of making the fabric whiter. Thus explaining the logo.

However, the printing shop itself was launched with the vision of catering the demands in the construction industry for large format printing, like cad plotting and blueprinting. The idea of offering these services came about when we ourselves were struggling to find a convenient way of satiating our printing needs. We tried contacting several printing shops only to undergo the hassle of personally going over while waiting for the outputs in an ammonia scented close-space. Given the circumstance fuelled by the smell of ammonia, we asked ourselves “why go thru all the hassle when we can provide the convenience we actively sought for?”

With all the frustrations of our struggle, we decided to find a solution for ourselves and at the same time help our colleagues in the industry. As a result of this, Aidu Blueprinting Services was born.
