As we all know, prices of basic goods and services continue to rise because of inflation, and this affects everyone. Despite these changes, we remain committed to providing quality service and maintaining the standards you trust.

PUBLIC NOTICE | STRICT IMPLEMENTATION

The Municipality of Jimenez reiterates its firm enforcement of Municipal Ordinance No. 302-2025, otherwise known as the Revised Comprehensive Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Ordinance.

Let this be clear:

Smoking and va**ng are strictly prohibited in all public establishments.

All business owners, managers, and persons in charge are mandated to enforce this within their premises. This is not merely a request. It is a legal obligation.

Failure to comply will result in the following:

For establishments and persons in charge
Fines for non-compliance
Possible suspension of business permit or license for repeated violations
Further legal action as provided by law

For individuals
First offense: β‚±2,000 fine
Second offense: β‚±2,500 fine
Third and subsequent offenses: Possible imprisonment of up to 30 days, at the discretion of the court

We are protecting public health, maintaining order, and ensuring that shared spaces remain safe for everyone, especially our children, elderly, and vulnerable sectors.

This ordinance will be enforced. No exceptions.

We call on everyone to cooperate and uphold this standard for a healthier Jimenez.
