Not all get it but this page is not acting as an agency but more as a page where you can post a message if you want a job as a maid or if you have a vacancy for a maid.

Most people ask the family if they know someone but it is not always as easy as it looks to find a maid.

So just post your message on this page like:

* Looking for a job as a maid, with your age and location where you are at that moment and if the job is full time or part-time. Note that part-time means that you won't be living with your employer under the same roof.

* Looking for a maid, full-time or part-time (experience) (salary) and what is the location of your house.

Note: do not post telephone numbers here for your own safety. Always check your alternative mailbox because that is where non-facebook friend messages will go.

Is being a maid a bad job?

We hear it many times and no, depending on how your employer treats you, being a maid is actually not a bad job at all. And for a large part, your employer will treat you like a family member.
(but still know your place, never forget it)

If you work as a maid, free housing, and free food come with it.
Assuming you are a full-time maid, you barely spend money which means most of your salary will be savings.

Just compare this with working in the province where you earn about 350 pesos (max.) a day but then you still need to buy your own food as well, just count it.

So if someone is looking down to you because you work as a maid then just ask them if they are working for a minimum wage and how much they got left at the end of each month to support their family, I am sure it's less.

So being a maid is not a bad job at all.
