Here are the FACTS about DRY CLEANING..
âś…1. No, DRY CLEANING IS NOT A DRY PROCESS. Despite the name, dry cleaning involves using a liquid solvent, not water, to clean clothes. The term "dry" refers to the fact that water is not used, as water can damage certain fabrics.
NOT A COMPLETELY DRY PROCESS:
Despite using solvents, the process still involves liquids, so it's not a dry process in the strictest sense. Clothes still GET WET , not with water and fabric detergent but with chemical solvents.

âś…2. Why the name?
The "dry" in dry cleaning refers to the fact that the process doesn't involve water, which can shrink or damage delicate fabrics.

✅3. No , we can’t accept rush service for apparels made of heavy and thick materials . And yes in some cases we accept rush service for Barong Tagalog (only if dropped off early morning and pick up will be before shop’s closing hour). Here is why..
——Dry cleaning-labeled clothes cannot be dried in a machine due to the potential for damage from heat and agitation. Dry cleaning solvents are used to clean clothes without water but instead it is soaked in solvents, and the heat and tumbling in a dryer can cause shrinkage, distortion, and wrinkling in delicate fabrics like silk, lace, and natural fibers like wool. ——

**** Instead of using a dryer, dry-clean-only clothes should be dried naturally, AIR DRIED ONLY! And this takes time . ****

âś…4. You pay for the specialized service you ask for. It is reasonably priced considering the equipment used for this process is usually very complex and only trained personnel can use them. There are various steps that have to be followed during the cleaning process to ensure that the clothes are not damaged. Also handling of the equipment and disposal of the waste requires some skill.
