Posting this for everyone's awareness:

At Rae's and Mara's, we operate on a principle of strict transparency and zero tolerance for dishonesty—whether from our team or our customers.

When we make a mistake, we own it directly so we can learn and continuously improve our service.

For context, our lapse was allowing the customer's neighbor to receive the delivery on your behalf while you were away, even though they offered to do so in good faith. Moving forward, if a customer is unavailable, our policy is strictly to reschedule redelivery.

However, we must address the claims regarding the customer's order:

1. Sealed Packaging: All orders are fully sealed upon leaving our facility. We also have a monitoring system to back up our claim.

2. Weight Discrepancy: The customer initially claimed that all garments brought to us were completely dry, asserting that a 3 kg weight loss after washing was impossible. When we provided documented photo evidence showing that your unwashed items were noticeably wet and moist upon drop-off, your claim shifted to stating they were "just moist."

3. Post-Wash Weight: It is standard for wet or damp laundry to weigh significantly less once thoroughly dried. Furthermore, using heated dry cycles naturally results in minor weight variations even for dry items due to moisture extraction.

We hold our business to high standards, and we expect honest communication from our clients in return. We have previous cases of missing garments or other items. But with good communication and understanding, almost all our cases were resolved smoothly. However, unjustified accusations of lost items and demands for compensation based on contradictory claims are unacceptable.

As requested, we will issue no further outreach regarding this matter, and we consider this case closed.
