Years na silang nag-DIY sa anay… pero bumalik pa rin.

Huwag basta i-spray lang yung labas.

Kapag termites are showing near outlets or baseboards, possible na may activity na sa loob ng wall, ilalim ng flooring, or hidden wooden parts ng bahay.

Ang outlet or baseboard minsan “exit point” lang — hindi ibig sabihin doon talaga nagsimula ang infestation.

Kaya kung spot treatment lang ang gagawin, pwedeng mawala temporarily yung nakikita mo… pero active pa rin yung source sa loob.

Pwedeng mukhang okay pa yung surface, pero sa loob hollow na, marupok na, or kinakain na pala.

Common signs na dapat bantayan:

✔ May butas or uka sa kahoy
✔ May wood dust or maliliit na debris
✔ Hollow ang tunog kapag kinatok
✔ May mud tubes sa pader or kahoy
✔ May lumilipad na anay or pakpak sa sahig
✔ Biglang lumalambot ang door frame, cabinet, or kisame

Kaya kung may sira na ang kahoy, importante munang malaman kung active pa ang infestation.

Kasi kung papalitan mo lang yung damaged wood pero hindi na-treat ang source, possible na yung bagong kahoy naman ang susunod na target.
