Butuan also 😅
🇵🇭 Naa Koy Theory...
Every homeowner sa CDO...
Naa gyud ni'y superpower.
😂
I'm not joking.
Mga sobra lima na ka tuig ko nagtan-aw ani.
Wala gihapon ko kasabot.
🤣🤣🤣
Sige ra ingon ani
They message us for a quote.
Post-construction cleaning.
Ihatag namo ang presyo.
😐
Silence.
🤣
Then...
"Ma'am, mahal po."
"Naa siguro mas barato."
"I'll ask around first."
🤣🤣🤣
Sige ra, no hard feelings.
We move on.
🤣
Days pass.
Wala.
More days pass.
Still nothing.
🤣
Then...
one or two days before the house blessing...
motawag na sila.
🤣🤣🤣
"Ma'am emergency na po"
"Ugma na ang blessing!"
"Wala nay makuha!"
🤣
I freeze.
Every single time.
🤣🤣🤣
Kay pareho ra gyud ang timing.
Never three weeks.
Never even one week.
One or two days lang.
🤣
Usahay mas gamay pa.
🤣🤣🤣
Same storya pud kanunay.
They hired someone cheaper.
🤣
Ang "mas barato"...
nagdala lang og trapo.
Regular vacuum.
Ug Zonrox.
🤣🤣🤣
No steam.
No HEPA.
Walay idea unsay epekto sa cement dust sa grout.
🤣
Two hours in...
na-realize sa cheap guy...
post-construction dust doesn't come off with a rag.
🤣🤣🤣
They finish the job
Nabayran sila
But para sa ila mao na to ang limpyo
🤣
Karon naa nay not-so-clean house.
Blessing tomorrow.
Ug ang pari muabot na.
🤣🤣🤣
That's when they call us.
Pirmi frantic.
Kanunay "kaya pa kaha?"
Always "Ma'am, tabangi mi"
🤣
Funny thing?
Same price namo three weeks ago.
Usahay naa nay rush fee na.
🤣🤣🤣
And somehow...
it’s never "sorry, ulahi na ang tanan"
Pirmi "sige Ma'am, magpadala mi ug crew"
🤣
I've started to think...
naa gyud instinct ang Pinoy homeowner.
Dala na siguro sukad natawo.
🤣
The doctor hands the baby over and says:
"Congratulations po.
Malusog.
Ug paglaki, mag-DIY una bago motawag og propesyonal."
🤣🤣🤣
Because after three years of this...
naa koy nakat-unan nga tinuod.
🤍
Everyone wants to try the cheaper way first.
Walay sayop ana.
🤍
But post-construction dust doesn't negotiate.
Ang semento wala labot sa imong deadline.
And the right equipment isn't optional. Mao gyud na ang trabaho.
🤍
So kung ugma na ang blessing...
and the floor still looks like a construction site...
kami gihapon ang motubag sa tawag.
🤍🇵🇭
Be honest...
Kinsa diha ang nag-DIY una bago nitawag og cleaner one to two days before the deadline? 😂
