Barangay of Punsod

Barangay of Punsod Punsod is one of the barangays which are in the outlying area of Municipality of Maribojoc. PUNSOD (1956) – Punsod was once a part of Aliguay and Bayacabac.

Water is very scarce in the area especially during summer days. The river and springs, as their source of water, were too far and the people have to walk long distances to secure water for their daily consumption. During rainy season, the people used big jars placed under coconut trees with bamboo poles connected to it serving as gutters in collecting water. These bamboo gutters were locally known

as “pansud.” The “pansud” were widely used in the place in which the name of barangay Punsod originated.

Eligibility to Donate:
- Must be between 16 and 65 years old (Parent/guardian consent required for 16-17-year-old donors)
- In good health
- Weigh at least 110 lbs (50 kg)

Aduna na usab kitay MOBILE BLOOD DONATION ACTIVITY nga pagahimuon karong HULYO 4, 2024 (Huwebes) sa alas 8:00 sa buntag hangtod 1:00 sa palis (cut-off sa pagdawat og blood donors) adto sa DR. ABUNDIO ECHAVEZ MEMORIAL CULTURAL AND SPORTS CENTER (Maribojoc Gym).

MGA CRITERYA SA PAG ABUNO:
- Mga naga edad 16-60 years old ang pwede maka donar
- Ang timbang dapat di muubos ug 50 kilos
- Saktong pahuway ug nakatulog nga di muubos ug 6 ka oras
- Nakakaon ug pamahaw
- Di muinom ug ilimnon na maka hubog 24 hrs usa mudonar
- Di pag pagpanigarilyo 4 hrs before mudonar
- Kung aduna kamoy tattoo pwede gihapon makadonar basta nilapas na ug 1 ka tuig

Giawhag namo ang tanan sa pag apil sa maong aktibidad para makatabang sa mga tao nga nanginahanglan.
