Did you know we do above ground installs?

If your struggling to keep your lawn green or setting up a new lawn we can provide a simple and cost effective solution compared with inground irrigation. No mess and no digging. They can be removed if needed, or put away over winter.

We are in a warm dry spell with little signs pointing to anything other than a hot dry summer. Your lawn will appreciate getting long soakings over a ti**le everyday. Try to water in the morning, it saves evaporation (day watering) and means the grass doesn't sit wet overnight (night watering).

We've had a busy few weeks renovating lawns across North Canterbury, looking forward to seeing the results. 🌱

🌞 Spring is starting to heat up, and I'm starting to see signs of drought stress on my travels, although the grass is wet most mornings, the rainfall had been quite light. Remember to water when needed, long and infrequently is best.

🐛 Grass grub treatments are next on the list for both regular clients and one offs. If you need a fertiliser and grass grub spray, we can do it in one visit for as little as $100.

Spring is here 🥳

We are starting to see some good growth with the warmer temps and longer days.

A great time to do a spring fertiliser to boost your lawns, and if winter w**ds have popped up? Time to hit it with a selective herbicide. A perfect time to core, scarify and seed. Also lawn pest protection can go down from now through to November to protect your lawn from grubs.

Spring sets your lawn up for a stressful summer, make sure it's given the best chance.

If you can't be bothered with all that, or don't know where to start, feel free to message. We can give you the perks of a nice green, w**dfree lawn with minimal input.

Spring is round the corner 🥳

If your lawn looks abit sad after the dry summer and cold winter, give it a new lease on life for the upcoming season. Scarifying and topdressing can turn a very average lawn into a summer stunner!

Dethatching is a great means to revive a tired mossy lawn. It removes dead material and moss allowing water and nutrients down into the soil.

Check out some of the turn arounds last summer, the photos are around 14 days after the renovations.

After a long hot summer, the night temps are starting to drop, days are shorter and the dew is thick on a morning.
If your lawn is looking sad after the summer here's some little tricks to help it recover.

- If your lawn is brown or drought stressed, give it a couple of really good long waterings this week, you'll be surprised hiw quickly it can bounce back.
-Help the recovery with a good quality slow release fertiliser.
-Mow, mow, mow... little and often, remember to keep sharp blades on the mower.
- Feed your soil with seaw**d or other organics, these can help recovery and also prevent disease.

In the coming weeks I'll be opening a few slots up for lawn renovations, I have limited spaces so get in touch should your lawn need a helping hand to thrive through winter. 🌱
