Merry Christmas!

To all my amazing clients this year, your custom and loyalty has been so amazing and I appreciate everyone one of you! - and a huge shout out to the ones that have been with me supporting my business since the very beginning 🧡

2023 has certainly been a year of crazy - floods, cyclones, more floods…..and very, very little sunshine!

Here’s hoping 2024 has a lot more to offer and I hope you all get some fabulous time off over the silly season to rest and relax 🙌🏼

Exit Clean Afters ✨🩵

If you hadn’t known that just yesterday, this house was full of belongings, you’d never believe the house had been lived in yet! 🙌🏼✨ got it looking sparkling like brand spanking new! I love a good exit clean 😍🤩 and those vacuum lines 🤤😍✨

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I am extremely busy this time of year with one-off spring cleans, exit and pre sale cleans on top of all my regular cleans, which means I am now FULLY BOOKED so please bear with me.

I do have a cancellations list I am happy to add you to, but that list is currently long!

Looks like spring is on its way, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a good summer for 23/24!

If anyone in your household is unwell, please do message or call to let me know so we can either cancel for the week or reschedule. I know it’s not fun missing a clean and no one wants to do that!

I have other clients that also don’t want to miss their cleans, which will have to happen if I get sick 🤒

Update:

While I am hoping to still be able to get to all of you this week, please bear with me. As most of you know I am north of warkworth and the roads until today have been closed due to flooding and slips.

If for any reason I am unable to get to your scheduled clean - I will endeavour to get to you at the soonest possible time. I will keep you all updated with confirmation texts and through Facebook messenger.

If you are in need of any additional cleaning due to flooding with this weather please don’t hesitate to let me know and I will do the extra work free of charge or point you in the direction of those that can help with the extra equipment.

Can you believe it’s that time of the year again…….!?

I will be away from business from the 24th December through to the 3rd of January spending time with my family and hopefully relaxing for at least 2 of those days 😂🙌🏼

So while I tie up the last of this years cleans before Christmas break and fit everyones cleans in so things run smoothly, If I don’t get to see you in person before Christmas I would just like to thank you all for your Loyal custom through 2022!

Spring has sprung! 😍🌱 Finally……..after what seems like the longest winter ever 😩

I’m sure we’ve all been counting down the days to the warmer evenings and the sunlight in our homes again, BUT, with spring also comes the dreaded ANTS! 🐜🐜🐜

Here are some simple easy tips for keeping those pesky critters at bay this season!

Where you see one ant, you're bound to see others. That's because ants leave a scented trail that other ants follow. Sweeping or mopping isn't enough to eliminate the scent. Instead, mix 1 part vinegar with 3 parts water in a spray bottle for a safe way to get rid of ants in the home, then spray wherever you've seen ants in the past.

A clean house is your first defence against ants. Sweep up food crumbs, wipe up spills, take out the garbage and don't leave dirty dishes sitting around the house. This takes away the ants food source! You can use the vinegar spray around pet food bowls too - it’s safe!

One of the most effective ways to kill ants is by poisoning them with borax powder. This can be found at your local hardware store reasonably cheap and, though it sounds really toxic, it’s relatively safe. Borax is often found in many kinds of household cleaning products.
Make a paste with borax, powdered sugar (icing sugar) and water. Put some in small containers, and place the containers near areas you’ve seen them. The ants will eat the mixture or bring the mixture to their queen. Though it could take awhile to kill all the ants, borax is pretty effective in ridding your property of these little critters!

If you’re not keen on the vinegar smell, try wiping surfaces prone to ants with a mix of peppermint oil and water. Ants don’t like peppermint and it will leave most areas smelling fresh too!
