Nesbit Contracting has donated some digger services to Simply the Breast Dragonboat Team.
In the recent big floods, the container that stores gear and a dragonboat, got swept away from its site. The silt/sand buildup over the area is several feet deep in places.
We are going to move the container back in place, and do a bit of clearing up, so the team can get up and training.
Photos from initial arrival and assessment. Will put up more once work is complete.

Arriving soon is this jcb bobcat. It will be super useful for those vineyard jobs where we need to move material from down the rows.
Future plans will include a GPS laser guided level to make getting those millimetre perfect levels on shed, house, arena sites. It will improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve accuracy :)

We have added a new machine to the fleet.
A 7.5 tonne, twin drum vibrating roller.
It has already been put to work repairing a winery access road, compacting a new house site and around some vineyard headlands after storm repair work.
We can move this with our own transport trailer which makes it very easy to get on site.

Creek cleaning at a local vineyard. Choked up waterways increase the risk of flooding over winter. Clearing some of the overgrowth improves both water flow and quality.
Now is a great time to get your ditches, drains and waterways cleared - before the winter/spring rains.
Keep in mind that some areas, like the one shown in these pics, require a permit from the council before work can start.
Some before and after pics and one of the little critters resident ;)
First 2, choked up overgrown waterways, next 2 are after clearing under permit conditions.
