I’m afraid the Laundromat will be opening later than usual tomorrow, Tuesday the 18th, as I have a suspected gas leak, so as a precaution I won’t open the doors until all is safe and working as usual…

This should be by 9am at the latest, and I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause

I thought I’d be writing with some good news, in regards to power supply to the laundromat, but I’m afraid we still have our doors closed…

I have made multiple phone calls to WEL, multiple phone calls to generator companies, their stocks/supplies are all out…

What I’m hoping for, is that once they hook up power to our block of shops, we will open the doors asap and be open longer hours, to accommodate everyone needing washing machines and dryers

We hope everyone is safe and well and thank everyone for their patience in this situation 🙏🏾

I’m afraid the laundromat will be closed today due to a break in this morning between 4-4.30am

We will be open tomorrow from 7am as per normal, but I’m afraid we won’t have a coin machine/not changer until we can arrange a new one

We are very sorry for this inconvenience and we will hope to have everything in place as soon as possible

We are closing Xmas day, apologies if this causes any inconvenience, please have your washing collected by 7.30pm this evening, to avoid it being locked in there and we will be back open on Boxing Day, from 7am ☺️

New Years Eve, we will be closing at 4pm, there have been signs up for a few days, but please mention this to whoever you may know that frequents the laundromat 🙏🏾

We have again just been contacted by the Public Health Officer for the Waikato DHB, to let us know that our casual contact status was upgraded to a close contact status…

The laundromat was used on Friday the 1st of October, between the hours of 3.30pm-5pm, this is the time that the health officer was very specific about, not before or not after those times, do you need to do what’s required of the status

you can find all the information around this on the Covid 19 website, but it’s asking that you please get tested, only if you were in the laundromat between those times. And please self isolate until you return a negative test

Please also be assured that the laundromat gets thoroughly cleaned/sanitised daily, and I have been very happy with the amount of people wearing masks, maintaining safe distances and being respectful of each other.

Due to the level 4 lockdown, for the next 3 days, the laundromat will be operating on reduced hours…

8am - 4pm

We will re look at these hours, if the lockdown is extended, but please, for now, observe social distancing rules, and please be respectful of others…

I’m afraid, due to an electrical fire, we are having to close the laundromat today and possibly tomorrow, I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will ensure we have it back up and running as soon as possible...

I’d also like to thank the wonderful woman that called our awesome fire brigade this morning, a fast response saved the laundromat and surrounding businesses, hugely appreciated 🙏🏾

“3pm sharp, Tuesday the 11th of August, due to power meter upgrades”...

Please make sure your washing/drying is completed before 3pm...

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will be open at our normal time on Wednesday the 12th of August...

We trust everyone has stayed safe and well in our community over these past 33 days of Level 4 lockdown...

As we move to Level 3 from Tuesday the 28th of April, nothing much changes in regards to the usage of the laundromat, including the hours

7am - 5pm

I do ask that we still adhere to the protocols that we outlined in our previous post for Level 4.

We are still requiring customers to adhere to the social distancing requirements, which means no more than 4 people in the laundromat at one time, to please wear gloves, and once you have placed your washing in the machines, vacate the laundromat and take yourself on a nice relaxing walk, grab some fresh air or enjoy the down time in your vehicles...

I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody that has continued to support our business over these weeks, it is very appreciated 🙏🏾

We are hoping everyone is safe, well & prepared for the country’s lockdown tonight at midnight...

The Raglan Laundromat has been classed as an essential business to be able to remain open during the next 4 weeks...

On one level I am relieved and grateful that we can remain open and continue to provide our service to the community, and on another level, I am incredibly nervous, so with that, we need your help, as our valued customers, to please adhere to the following protocols that we have chosen to put in place...

1. Laundry will be able to be done/completed between the hours of 7am - 5pm daily

2. There are to be no more than 4 people in the laundromat at one time, this is to adhere to the social distancing requirements

3. You are to place your washing/drying into the machines, set your cycles and then please refrain from staying in the laundromat, this means, either return to your vehicles, or go for a walk

4. Please wear gloves & masks if you have them available, as this will help reduce any spread/contamination of viruses

5. Lastly, please, if you are unwell, we ask that you do not use the laundromat, and kindly get someone in your whanau to help you

Please also know, that the laundromat is cleaned/sanitised daily, this includes all surfaces, handles and inside the machines

We are incredibly grateful to all of you that are continuing to use our service and we hope you and your families stay safe and well during the next 4 weeks
