🏡 Cubby House Challenge for a Cause!

This September, FBL support team, together with Green Acres and Hire A Hubby franchise support teams in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, will be building and decorating Cubby Houses to be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to 0800 What’s Up, Barnardos’ free national helpline for tamariki and rangatahi.

📸 The Build:
Teams will come together on Thursday, September 25th. Creativity is key! Each team will choose a theme and source all decorating materials – think thrifted treasures, gifted supplies, and repurposed items. We’ll be sharing progress along the way and photos of the final cubbies – watch this space!

Recently, we attended a site in Plimmerton, Wellington for Darroch/NZTA , where rotting timber on a bridge had been reported. During our inspection, our team identified additional areas of concern that could have become potential hazards for neighbouring properties. By proactively highlighting these issues and recommending further work, we saved our client valuable time, ensured safety, and helped prevent future problems.

The client approved our recommendations, and repairs are now underway—another example of how our customer-focused approach keeps both people and infrastructure safe.
