Who needs expensive cleaners when your kitchen is basically a cleaning arsenal? 😏✨
From vinegar to baby oil… these everyday items are secretly doing the MOST.
💡 Save this before you spend money on something you already have at home!

Tips of the week.

Cleaning: Toothbrushes are great for getting muck out of those narrow channels, especially in the shower 😊

Hygiene: One way germs are spread is through touching objects and surfaces that have germs on them, then touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. This is also true of touching inside your ears. They are all connected through the eustachian tubes.
While putting on glasses or headphones is generally ok, touching your ear buds and then inserting them into the ear canal deposits the germs into the channel, a contained environment and gives them direct access to the eustachian tubes.

Tips of the week!

A good cleaner is not afraid to get down on their knees, or pull out the fridge, stove or washing machine to clean behind / underneath them.

Hygiene hint;Washing your hands properly is the number one protection against harmful bacteria and viruses.

If you use a cream cleaser in the non-glass parts of your shower (floor, walls), make sure you rinse them thoroughly. Unless you have very high water pressure, wipe the walls with a clean cloth as you rinse with water, as the clenser can leave residues on the surface. Module 1, Classifications of Product Ingredients in our From Grime to Gleam course details how the main scouring component of cream clensers is calcium carbonate. This is, of course, a major component of limescale (Module 3, The Composition of Soilings), and will contribute to limescale buildup if not properly rinsed off. This is another reason why we recommend an acid-based detergent for the wet rooms; it rinses off so easily, and it sprays on instead of having to spread it around.

Always close the toilet seat lid before flushing. Using a blacklight, this pic shows the buildup of biologicals that have been spread through water vapour in the air, created by the process of flushing. (Module 7, The Truth About Hygiene)

Cleaning tip of the week!
Use the correct product in the correct areas. This is the same as our what to look for in a good cleaner tip. Acid products in the wet rooms, alkaline products in the kitchen. The results show themselves. Both photos are pre-clean.
