🧹 WE’RE ON THE HUNT FOR A CLEANING SUPERSTAR! 🧹

We’re looking for someone who:

💥 Has preferably 2–3 years cleaning experience — but if you’re awesome and have less, don’t let that put you off!

💥 Has a can-do attitude, takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys helping people.

💥 Isn’t afraid to go the extra mile for their clients and knows that the little things matter.

💥 Is available during school hours Monday–Friday, starting around 10–15 hours per week, with the opportunity to build up to around 20+ hours.

💥 BONUS POINTS ⭐ if you can cover a 1.5-hour job on a Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday afternoon or early Monday morning. This is preferred but not essential!

💥 Is happy to contract to us as a cleaner and invoice for jobs at the end of each clean. (Most of our cleaners use Hnry, which makes this super easy.)

Happy National Home Cleaner’s Day!!

We are more than the people who clean the house.

We are the calm that walks in when life has become overwhelming.

We are the fresh sheets after a hard week.
The empty sink after a long day.
The clean floors little feet can play on.
The deep breath someone takes when they finally walk into a home that feels peaceful again.

We give people something they can never make more of:

Time.

We give mothers back an afternoon with their children instead of an afternoon scrubbing bathrooms.

We give exhausted parents permission to sit down.

We give couples one less thing to argue about and one less responsibility to divide.

We give busy professionals a weekend that actually feels like a weekend.

We give people time to rest.
Time to be present.
Time with their families.
And sometimes, simply time for themselves.

And our work goes far beyond cleaning.

Sometimes we're the person an elderly client has been waiting all week to talk to.

The Things Cleaners Carry 💪

Not just supplies.
We carry people's stress.

The weight of the laundry that kept getting pushed to tomorrow. The kitchen that's been sitting in the back of someone's mind all week. The bathroom they haven't had the energy to tackle. The endless mental list of things that need to get done.
We carry the embarrassment people feel when they apologize for the mess before we've even started.

We carry the overwhelm of busy parents trying to do everything at once. The exhaustion of someone working long hours. The struggles people don't always talk about.
And sometimes, what we're really cleaning isn't dirt.

It's stress.

Our team is looking for a casual cleaner who is flexible and can work on short notice, especially as we enter the winter season. This role may also include regular shifts and the opportunity to develop a more regular schedule if wanted.

The requirements for this position are:

💥 Someone who is available for a 1.5hr clean in Ngatea sometime between 6pm Friday and 6am Monday (start time). Preferable but not essential.

💥 Someone who is flexible with travel as we cover a large catchment area over Hauraki Plains including Mangatarata - Paeroa - Thames/ Thames Coast - Ngatea and everywhere in between.

💥 Ability to contract as a sole trader - so either already set up as a sole trader or willing to set up as a sole trader.

💥 You will also need a reliable vehicle, and the necessary equipment to complete each clean.

Overwhelmed by Housework?

If you have been thinking about getting a cleaner for that little bit of extra help around the house we have opened a few weekly and fortnightly spaces during the week.

We currently have a cleaner based in the Thames/ Kopu/ Paeroa area who has spaces available on Mondays and Tuesdays and another cleaner based in the Hauraki plans area servicing Mangatarata, Ngatea, Turua, though to Thames who has weekly and fortnightly slots available Monday-Friday (spaces are limited but if you have a preferred day we will see what we can do to fit you in).

Options are available for Kerepehi and Kaihere also and all surrounding areas.

Spaces are always open too for those one off spring cleans or freshen up jobs and of course end of tenancy cleans - if you are moving house, moving into a new house or putting your house on the market feel free to get in touch for a no obligation free quote.

Happy New Year - welcome to 2026!!! 🥳

We are back from next week! With a few spaces available in Thames, Kopu or nearby areas.

Other areas are currently full however we are looking to bring on more cleaners this year so if you are interested in getting a regular cleaner in either weekly or fortnightly send me through your expression of interest and we’ll see if we can work something out for you.

Spaces are still available for one off cleans and end of tenancy cleaning!

To all our wonderful friends and customers - It has been a big year! Thank you for your continued business and support (especially all our regular customers whom without this would not be possible)!

3 years ago I created this business as a way to help support my family after realising going back into a taxing management role in the plumbing industry would no longer be suitable for our needs.

I didn’t know if I would succeed or what lay ahead but each year has gotten bigger and better and I have been able to help more local Mums do the same for their families as I did for mine. I am excited about the future of Mums Get It Done but for now we need some rest, so we can come back next year bigger and better than ever!

We will be closed from Monday 22nd December through to Sunday 4th January to allow myself and our wonderful cleaners, Sam, Elesha, Laura and Carly some uninterrupted time with our families.

A huge shout out to all my girls, who work tirelessly to help support me and this business and do a wonderful job taking care of our clients and their homes! I hope you enjoy a well deserved break!

Hi everyone!!! There were so many amazing nominations this month that I have decided as we weren’t able to offer our free cleans last month, to give out 4 free cleans. We really do have a lot of amazing people in our community, I wish I could do more! Two will be done tomorrow and two people will have the opportunity to pick an available slot over the next couple of weeks.

This month Julie White, Kylie Urwin,
Taylor Bovill and Kim Batchelor have been chosen for the 2hr free cleans!

Ladies I will be in touch to sort a time that suits to come round. For those who missed out this month please nominate yourselves/ friends again next month, I will keep trying to offer as many spaces as possible to help all these wonderful people.
