Our team is looking for a casual cleaner who is flexible and can work on short notice, especially as we enter the winter season. This role may also include regular shifts and the opportunity to develop a more regular schedule if wanted.

The requirements for this position are:

💥 Someone who is available for a 1.5hr clean in Ngatea sometime between 6pm Friday and 6am Monday (start time). Preferable but not essential.

💥 Someone who is flexible with travel as we cover a large catchment area over Hauraki Plains including Mangatarata - Paeroa - Thames/ Thames Coast - Ngatea and everywhere in between.

💥 Ability to contract as a sole trader - so either already set up as a sole trader or willing to set up as a sole trader.

💥 You will also need a reliable vehicle, and the necessary equipment to complete each clean.

Overwhelmed by Housework?

If you have been thinking about getting a cleaner for that little bit of extra help around the house we have opened a few weekly and fortnightly spaces during the week.

We currently have a cleaner based in the Thames/ Kopu/ Paeroa area who has spaces available on Mondays and Tuesdays and another cleaner based in the Hauraki plans area servicing Mangatarata, Ngatea, Turua, though to Thames who has weekly and fortnightly slots available Monday-Friday (spaces are limited but if you have a preferred day we will see what we can do to fit you in).

Options are available for Kerepehi and Kaihere also and all surrounding areas.

Spaces are always open too for those one off spring cleans or freshen up jobs and of course end of tenancy cleans - if you are moving house, moving into a new house or putting your house on the market feel free to get in touch for a no obligation free quote.

Happy New Year - welcome to 2026!!! 🥳

We are back from next week! With a few spaces available in Thames, Kopu or nearby areas.

Other areas are currently full however we are looking to bring on more cleaners this year so if you are interested in getting a regular cleaner in either weekly or fortnightly send me through your expression of interest and we’ll see if we can work something out for you.

Spaces are still available for one off cleans and end of tenancy cleaning!

We look forward to working with you all throughout the year, as always thank you for your continued support! It’s going to be a great year! 🎆

To all our wonderful friends and customers - It has been a big year! Thank you for your continued business and support (especially all our regular customers whom without this would not be possible)!

3 years ago I created this business as a way to help support my family after realising going back into a taxing management role in the plumbing industry would no longer be suitable for our needs.

I didn’t know if I would succeed or what lay ahead but each year has gotten bigger and better and I have been able to help more local Mums do the same for their families as I did for mine. I am excited about the future of Mums Get It Done but for now we need some rest, so we can come back next year bigger and better than ever!

We will be closed from Monday 22nd December through to Sunday 4th January to allow myself and our wonderful cleaners, Sam, Elesha, Laura and Carly some uninterrupted time with our families.

A huge shout out to all my girls, who work tirelessly to help support me and this business and do a wonderful job taking care of our clients and their homes! I hope you enjoy a well deserved break!

Hi everyone!!! There were so many amazing nominations this month that I have decided as we weren’t able to offer our free cleans last month, to give out 4 free cleans. We really do have a lot of amazing people in our community, I wish I could do more! Two will be done tomorrow and two people will have the opportunity to pick an available slot over the next couple of weeks.

This month Julie White, Kylie Urwin,
Taylor Bovill and Kim Batchelor have been chosen for the 2hr free cleans!

Ladies I will be in touch to sort a time that suits to come round. For those who missed out this month please nominate yourselves/ friends again next month, I will keep trying to offer as many spaces as possible to help all these wonderful people.

💥📣 It’s that time Again!📣 Our Free Tuesday Cleans are back next week! 💥 Unfortunately after a busy start to winter I havent had any time to organise it, so nominations will only he open till 5pm tomorrow and I will contact those slected to organise a clean for Tuesday!

Mums Get It Done has launched Totally Free Tuesdays for the last Tuesday of every month for 2025! 🥳

All you need to do is tag a friend and nominate why you think they deserve a 2hr free clean or nominate yourself and why you would like to take advantage of this offer! You can PM me through the page, you do not have to send your nomination via this post.

This month we have two 2hr free cleans available for Tuesday 29th July.

❤️ The reason I started this business was to help people! And while it’s great to be able to do that and create an income for myself and my staff while doing so, I would also like to reach out to those who maybe can’t afford to get a cleaner in, don’t know what it’s like to have a cleaner and would like to trial it before booking and just generally give back to my community and treat a few of you to a gift you may not gift yourself! ❤️

* It is limited to a 2hr general clean though special circumstances/ requests will be taken into account.

* There will be limited spaces available (at this stage the cleans will be with me (Christina - the owner of Mums Get It Done) however if my girls chose to volunteer their time also we may open up more spaces.

* Paid bookings will still be available on this day with our other cleaners. I am choosing to make myself available for free on this day but they are not expected to work for free unless they choose to and they will be allocated jobs through the nominations.

* Winners may be asked for a few before and after photos to post on our page (no identifying features of the house or people will ever be used).

* Those chosen for a free clean must be available on the date above for the clean. Or have a way to make the house available to us to get the clean done on this day.
