History made in Alexandra

Congratulations to Bethany Rogers, Laeti Berten, Debbie Rodgers and Marty Godwin, who became the first athletes in the world to compete in the newly recognised 200m backstroke ice swimming event at the IISA Aotearoa New Zealand Championships.

By completing the event in qualifying ice water, each swimmer established an inaugural age-group world record, pending ratification.

At Moji, we're proud to support athletes who embrace the challenge, push their limits and strive to perform at their best. Recovery, resilience and consistency are all part of the journey.

We're also proud to see athletes across New Zealand continuing to push the boundaries of what's possible in ice swimming, including Hawke's Bay swimmers Debbie and Davey, who recently shared their journey in Hawke's Bay Today.

As the championships continue this week, we're excited to follow the athletes' journey and look forward to the announcement of the 2026 Frozen Ferns Team.

We're excited to announce that we are joining forces with New Zealand's competitive ice swimming team, the New Zealand Frozen Ferns.

Competing in water below 5°C, these incredible athletes push the limits of endurance, resilience and cold-water tolerance.

Together, we'll be exploring what makes cold water such a powerful tool for recovery and performance with the Moji Ice Tub.
