With an aging population, we need to be thinking about how we can make life a little bit easier for those with mobility problems.

Picture this... You show up to your holiday home on Boxing Day, the HWC has been leaking.

You call the plumber and have to pay not only an after hours call out but a public holiday call out charge. It can't be fixed and needs replacing.

It's a public holiday and the merchants are shut until January.

We can however PREVENT this from happening with our Holiday Home Maintenance Programme.

Get us out before we stop for the Xmas break, to perform this 6 point check to make sure everything is running as it should be. The earlier the better, so we can get any problems fixed now so it doesn't affect your holiday.

It's no secret we have an aging population, and in Northland we only have limited community care centre for our elderly to go to if they can't afford one of the private care homes.

So what can we do to help?

The reality is, people need to stay in residential homes for longer, which is likely to be what people want too. We can help make life easier, and safer, with assisted living aids.

These are two of the shower seat options we can install, because taking a chair or stool, in and out of the shower is not always practical. Both fold down flat against the wall so they are not in the way of others using the facilities.

There is a bench seat and a single folding seat. Both come in white or black to match your existing fixtures.

We also have a range of grab rails which can be installed to make it easier and safer to get in and out, up and down.
