White footed house ants. Happy nesting inside some empty cupboards. They are just as happy inside the walls and ceiling of your house. A problem ant in the Horowhenua area.

Common wasp nest (Vespula vulgaris). This is different from a German wasp nests whereby the colour of the nest paper is brown rather than grey. Smaller than german wasps and often more aggressive. A dangerous insect to eliminate yourself therefore best to seek professional advice.

White footed house ant (Technomyrmex jocosus) infestation. This was one cupboard infested out of many. This ant is the most common ant that comes inside in the Horowhenua area. Mainly a problem in kitchens and bathrooms. Difficult ant to control.

Recent home with German cockroach infestation. Don't use DIY insect bombs on this pest. These people had and this is the result. It just makes the problem so much worse. You might kill a few at the start but after a few months this will be the result.
