Strictly Hunting is a Twizel based company that takes pride in professional management of pest animals. We will train you to become an efficient night hunter working alongside others who are highly skilled in a niche space using GPS, thermal and night vision. The role will require you to work late nights, predominantly shooting rabbits for eradication projects, control or recovery. The role will be physically and mentally demanding.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
A strong focus on health, safety & risk management.
The ability to respect and get along with local landowners.
Be self-motivated, energetic with a positive work ethic.
Respect and maintain equipment.
The ability to stay away from home.
A clean Fi****ms Licence.
A Full drivers’ licence.
Excellent knowledge of firearm care, safety and laws.
The following are desirable but not essential as training can be provided:
NZQA units in ATV, LUV and 4WD use.
First aid certificate.
Controlled substance licence.
Good knowledge of animal behaviour.
Previous experience in either pest control or biosecurity work.
Previous experience with GPS, handheld recording devices and record keeping
