Hydro Excavation, the safer way to excavate.

Hydro Excavation is a safe, non-destructive digging technology utilising water and is commonly used to locate utilities, expose drainage lines, create trenches and post holes for public authorities as well as commercial and industrial facilities. Due to the large amount of services underground (pipes, ducts, sewers, water pipes, electrical cables, fibre-optics and phone lines) hydro excavation is a safer way of excavating to ensure these services remain undamaged.
Hydrotech’s hydro excavation units use pressurised water and a powerful vacuum to remove any type of ground material, eliminating risks to underground networks It is significantly faster than hand excavation and results in cheaper reinstatement costs.

Root Cutting
If you are experiencing drain blockages on a regular basis it is often root infiltration which is causing this.
Tree roots are a common hazard. Over time tree roots can grow extensively throughout your drainage system causing a serious blockage, or possibly even causing significant damage to the drain.
To clear the blockage we use a high powered Hydro Jet unit. The high pressure water shoots through the hose at around 3,000 – 4,000 psi, and will cut through the toughest tree roots
