As a small local business, it’s hard not to wonder why councils continue to welcome large national chains into small towns when local operators have spent years supporting the community. We have always being great believers in competition and if you think another business is a threat then lift your game be better than them BUT why let these chains in ……….. 🤦♀️
Businesses like Lizzy’s, support local clubs & events, and keep money circulating within our region. When a large chain laundry enters the market, it’s a bit like bringing McDonald’s into a town full of locally owned cafés — they have bigger buying power, larger marketing budgets, and resources that independent businesses simply can’t match.
We’re proud to be locally owned and operated, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support our customers continue to show us. Every time you choose local, you’re helping support local jobs, local families, and the future of our community.
Thank you for backing local businesses. It truly makes a difference. ❤️
