Our Plungee pools are designed and built to last for generations.

Each pool is reinforced with 12mm steel rebar and thick concrete walls. They’re heavy, yes, and they’re strong! You want to know that behind the paint and those pretty tiles, you’ve got a robust swimming pool.
I learned that myself from my own pool - there’s a big difference between a lightly reinforced water tank and a properly engineered concrete Plungee pool! 😜

Ask all the question’s when you’re weighing up your options. Often, it’s what you don’t see that matters most.

One of the cool things about concrete is that you can finish it in a variety of different ways. Tiling your Plungee definitely adds an awesome impact and opens up some creative opportunities to customise your pool and create something pretty unique!

This white beauty was fully tiled in-situ once it was sunk into its sub tropical garden in central Auckland.

These pictures demonstrate how you create a natural swimming pond, and Im keen to connect with someone in NZ who aspires to create one of these on their property. I’d love to partner on their project using the shell of our Rectangle Plungee.
I’ve been fascinated with them for over a decade, ever since swimming in Tuscany in a concrete swimming pool planted around the outside with aquatic planting.
The concept is trending hard in England right now too.

It’s been a big year for Plungee. Over the past 12 months we’ve perfected the perfect little concrete swimming pool, now available as ‘The Round’ and ‘The Rectangle’ Plungee.

These solid, architectural and natural pools are engineered to be installed fully in ground, partially in ground, or above ground. They can be transported by truck anywhere in New Zealand, heated for year round use, and the inside of your Plungee can be fully customisable, meaning you can have some real fun with tiling, plastering, or painting.

Our mission is simple. To create sustainable, high quality, timeless small concrete swimming pools at a price that makes them accessible for families.
