These healthy young trees have been grown from seeds in natural compost mix under basic tree starter shade making them hardy to temperature changes and weather conditions.

I have been an independent avocado contractor for over 10 years working directly with growers in harvesting, pruning, injecting, fertilizing etc.
This gives perfect opportunity to carefully select top quality zutano seed and hass scion {graft} wood.

The grafting technique I use is a long hook graft that gives stronger resistent against prevailing winds than the common shallow V grafts.

These trees are in PB10's, approximately 60cm from the soil high and range from a vase shape to more upright multiple leaders.

Farmhouse Lodge is lodge with a difference ..... it is home for Novia and Dawson Bliss the owners, it is in the countryside, amongst Avocado and Fruit trees, next to one of the most beautiful rivers in the North Island, its close to Orchards,Vineyards, Pack house’s and as a result we are always getting requests to supply workers. Its a Lodge with a true homely feeling, a place where you get to be part of the family and friendly culture of New Zealand with a mix of permanent Kiwis living here and some of Back packers from all parts of the world, free Wifi in Main Building, Sky TV, kitchens that are not crowded and lounges with lots of room, new washing and drying machines and stoves have recently been installed.
