2x slaughter knife hand (slaughter)
2x boning room floaters

Knife skills are a must for bo**rs.

We are currently seeking 2x candidates to fill 2 roles available.

1st-: Qc Officer
Venison Packers is in the market for a full time Qc Officer. The role includes the monitoring of the boning room procedures, compliance with NZ legislation and customer requirements. The applicant will need to have some understanding of the Meat Industry, with attention to detail. Positive and can do attitude and be a good team player is a must.

2nd -: Plant Cleaner
We are seeking a cleaner to join our elite team. This is a part time role with hours approximately 20 hours/ week. Start time is once processing finishes which is typically are 2pm. Full training will be provided .

We are lucky enough not to have to work Saturdays and finish before 4pm so you can have a life outside of your job.

Wise words from Deer Industry New Zealand!

With the roar once again underway, deer farmers will be taking extra care when handling stags, because of the risks they pose. But what about the new shepherd, telco and power company lines people, tradies, fishers, and trampers?

DINZ QA manager John Tacon says it’s critical that anyone visiting or working on a farm in the next few months knows to keep out of the stag paddocks.

“Those of us who have worked with deer for many years tend to take things like stag behaviour in the roar for granted. Don’t assume that’s the case with outsiders. Many New Zealanders don’t know anything about deer at all.”
