It has been a while since I last posted on this page. I just wanted to share a before and after photo using the Norwex leather shine before I go ahead and do my couches! These boots are YEARS old and have come up looking amazing. A nice smell too (well on the outside at least 😂) RRP $43.50

Wow, really enjoyed the zero waste workshop this evening. It really got me thinking about my next changes. I also felt guilty about selling Norwex cloths because of their comments about microfibre breaking down. I found this response from Norwex, which made me feel a little better!!!

We’ve actually been watching this issue for a bit now.
We’ve put together the following statement that I hope will help:

Microfiber and the Environment

Norwex is aware of recent concerns regarding plastic particles from microfiber and fleece textiles potentially entering waterways during normal washing.

While Norwex Microfiber itself has not been identified as a potential source of these tiny particles, we are naturally concerned and will continue, along with the rest of the textile industry, to research the issue and determine next steps.

As a reminder, cleaning with Norwex Microfiber and water is a far better alternative, environmentally speaking, than harsh chemicals, wet wipes and/or paper towels:

Are your cloths a bit smelly or don't feel as soft? They might need a deep clean. These cloths have been washed in the washing machine but after a month were going a bit stiff. I use two methods. This is the quickest! Boil the jug, pour the boiling water in the sink, put in half a scoop of Norwex laundry powder, pop in the cloths and swish around. I put in two jugs of water so that the cloths were covered. Then leave to soak. The cloths are amazing at holding in the dirt and sometimes need help to release the grime from the fibres.

Alright....I need a favour to ask. Whether you are one of my closest friends, family or an acquaintence please help me. I am trying the crystal deodorant and need you to tell me if I smell bad 😣. I don't mean sniff me...but if you are near me and you smell body odour I need to know😷! I am so nervous about this but it is another way for me to minimise chemicals in my life! Thank you in advance!!

It is embarrasing to look at your shoes and see how dirty they are, especially when walking out the door. I quickly gave my shoes a wipe with an enviro and cleaning paste and POW!! I have new shoes!! In February spend $100 and you can purchase the cleaning paste for $10!! The cleaning paste normally sells for over $40!
