Genie Clean is on the hunt for someone to join our busy cleaning and window cleaning teams.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being busy and out on the go, is physically fit and enjoys hard work, is meticulous with a good eye for detail, and works really well with others as part of a team.
We’re a fast-growing, local business, where you’d be treated as a team member, not as a contractor. We have a great team of staff, many who have been with us for years, and we’re looking for someone who will want to stay with the business and be a strong part of our team. We have opportunities to work you way up to potentially manage a team, and are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with the business.
We have a reputation for really high quality cleaning, so you need to be someone who cares about your work and notices the small details. We’re looking for the type of person who will go the extra mile to make sure even the dark corners are cleaned – not the kind who will sweep things under a rug.
Although you don’t need experience for this role, we view cleaning as a skilled job. You’ll be given full on the job training, and lots of opportunity to grow your skills and gain experience.
Our most important requirements are a positive, cheerful attitude to work, and the ability to get along well with others on the team and contribute to making our company a great place to work.
It is also a physically demanding job with a lot of hours spent on your feet, so it'll suit you if you're fit and active and enjoy being on the go.
This is a full-time role paid by the hour. Hours may vary from day to day, but are within normal daytime hours, Monday-Friday. There is also a small amount of evening work, however this is infrequent and is optional. You'll be paid time and a half if you work more than 45 hours.
A current Site Safe pass would be a plus, but is not essential.
The role is open immediately, but the start date is negotiable.
