I thought i was being clever this morning, getting up early to make a batch of muffins for my girl for school, fresh and warm. I found that awesome recipe by and followed it without hesitation. Being domestic is not my thing but I do try - it wasn't til I got the second set in the oven I realised I FORGOT TO ADD SUGAR. 😑 rest assured, my sewing skills are infinitely better. I am flat out this week but you are welcome to drop by and leave your alterations with me, I promise there will be no sugar-free mango muffins in sight.

Hi friends 😊

If you have been instore over the last few weeks you will have noticed that we are looking bare... this is because I've made the decision to combine and downsize The Creatives Edit. And Under Lexis Bed into one mini-store. I know, I know... it seems really crazy and I didn't take this one on a whim, I promise! We will still be inside the 105 Collective just in the entrance and through the soon-to-pink doors. We plan to open at 10am on Tuesday 2nd June, after the long weekend ☺️ still the same Me, still the same building, just a bit cosier and alot louder. Im fizzing for this change and thanks so much to our amazing Creatives and customers who make this venture so worth it 💖

Hey folks 😅 I've been away for a break in Raro and am back in store tomorrow (Wednesday 22/4) after a decent sleep. I had the most incredible time, and while all of it was a highlight, one of my favourite things was having a custom print fabric made by one of my aunties and I honestly loved watching the process. Im planning on making a few pieces with this and then a framed art piece for my wall. I will be taking alterations again tomorrow so if you need work done, just come by and say hi, im at 105 Brighton Mall. 😊 Kia Manuia 🪡🧵

I love mending. Its ridiculous how much I love mending. I went to .anthology.nz first clothing swap on Friday night (check out their socials for the next one!) And I came back with a few goodies but I picked up this Macpac jacket in my size 😁 it had a couple of patches and I knew I could sort these out with these Koi patches i bought on a whim. An hour and some choice words later, its a new look! This will now be perfect for traveling.

What is more diabolical than a parent refusing to pay $50 for a pair of jeans because Miss 10 will last approximately 7 weeks in them before she's too tall?

*a Mum with a sewing machine who finds a rad pair of jeans while thrifting and will do twice that price in alterations because apparently that's cost effective 😉 *

Ooh hi! Happy Waiting Weekend 🤗 its a sunny one out there and this weekend I've been making time to get on with the mends in my own pile - starting with these jeans I bought on my Christmas holiday in Dunedin, where the Op Shops always surprise me. These Cult of Individuality Jeans are due for a size down, fiddly but worth it. I mend my clothes to the same standard I do for yours even though I'm super impatient... currently reworking a sweater with a few pulls that are send me 😒
