AREA SUPERVISOR
PPCS are seeking expressions of interest for the position of Area Supervisor.
This is a Monday-Friday position from 4.00-8.00pm each day, although some flexibility is needed to meet the needs of the business.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in the cleaning industry
It is the Area Supervisor’s responsibility to ensure that the cleaning is performed to a high standard on all contracts. This requires travel between sites on a daily basis to monitor performance and provide support and guidance to the cleaning staff as well as ensuring the staff have correct equipment and training to perform all duties.
Key responsibilities include;
• Ensuring high standards are maintained on all contracts
• Contribute to the provision of a safe environment for staff and clients.
• Staff management
• Customer Service
• Stock Control
• Compliance of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Sustainability.
• Term Clean & Periodicals
• Cost Control
• Promote Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness
To be successful in this role you will;
• Meet clients cleaning needs
• Manage wages and purchases within budget
• Cover staff absences
• Meet Health & Safety requirements
• Meet deadlines
• Ensure all staff are appropriately trained and can safely deliver the scope of works.
You will also need to be able to;
• Actively develop effective partnerships with the clients
• Participate as a member of the team
• Promote the PPCS brand internally and externally
• Undertake other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time
