Hey all, due to FB T's & C's and "weapons" sales, I'll try this way around things.
I have for sale a mint used Air Rated Tasco 3-9 X 40mm AO Optic.
It's maybe 6 weeks old, mounted, and used for maybe 4 hunts.
Out of the box it went from just off the paper to zero groupings, at 40 metres, in 5 shots, and never needed further adjusting again.
No marks, or scratches, on either the tube, or lenses.
Got new from Hunting and Fishing for $219.00, haven't registered it, so new owner can claim the lifetime warranty with supplied receipt.
Can't fault it, nothing wrong with it, great Optic, with amazing focus for the money, just surplus now gun sold.
Comes with...
Its box, in its bubble wrap.
Info, and registration instruction sheet.
Quality mounting rings.
Mounting torx tool, and lens cloth.
Lens protectors.
More info, www.tasco.com manuals SKU: TAR3940.
$180.00 ONO.
If interested, PM me for pics, and vids.
Thanks

Can finally see the numbers starting to drop on the very small area I've shot, over at the Cambridge Trotting Club complex.
There is still many hectares untouched.
Had a spare hour on New Years Day. Had a quick look at a new area, the front hedgeline, beside the main Cambridge road.
Pic of the retrievable.
Safe shots were limited, due to the background, or it could have easily been one of my biggest tally hours...
Cant beat having open access to great sport, 2 mins walk from home.

Another quick Dusk sesh over the road at the Cambridge Trotting Track.Pic of the retrievable.

I didn't really need any more proof to the massive step up in air-rifles, that is the new gas piston technology.
For me the way R***r do it...in •177, paired with H&N's Baracuda power "pellets", coming in at 10.65 grains, I was hooked last year doing stuff I do with the •22 LR, without the noise, and it continues.
It makes me grin everytime I pull the trigger, and have memories of my old •177 BSA Meteor...you could watch the trajectory to target...at whatever speed that was....
Retired the •177 R***r Air Hawk Elite II, after, I have no idea how many shots, and a full on year.
The comparable mid market model on the market this year is the Targis.
Throw the 4 x 32 scope...as you take it out of the box...
First up, it felt heaps lighter than the Air Hawk, which fooled me for a bit, thinking it sounded "Tinny", and wasn't very powerful...
A tin, and a half of pellets later, it's bedding in pretty well, and im starting to get wicked groupings, and smoking Bugs, out to some silly distances.
The wee chap, on the right, in the pic, poleaxed a big mature Buck Rabbit, facing me at around 60m, stew tonight, so as I was dressing it later, found the pellet in mid muscle, of the back leg?? I knew it was the one I smoked through the head..this thing went right thru the head bruised the spine, before entering the lung, through the intestines, and into the leg....bring on this seasons fun.

Got to say, this year's Fillet Steaks are wayyy more friendlier than those angry buggers last year.

This mornings mish...nip across the road to the trotting club, get a couple for a stew....
That took all of a half hour, there onto me, sitting along the road fenceline, under the trotters feet, and somersault ing down their holes after head shots.
On with the rest of the day.
