How many memories do you have about the Pakuranga mall?

Originally named the Pakuranga Town Centre, this photograph was taken shortly after it first opened in 1965, making it one of the earliest malls to open in New Zealand. The mall underwent a redevelopment several decades later, which included a name change to Pakuranga Plaza in 1989 once it reopened. The name was changed yet again to Westfield Pakuranga when it came under new ownership, and then returned once more to the name Pakuranga Plaza in 2012.
