EDIT Wow this post really hit a nerve. It was meant to be light hearted but people are so serious out there right now. Huge thank you to those that support our small family business here on the Hibiscus Coast. We truly appreciate it. For those less supportive, its a shame you can't see our point of view. Like everyone at the moment, we're just trying to get by and stay as positive as we can.

There are a number of reasons we dont allow muddy vehicles at our site. One is that your ruin the satisfying, car cleaning experience for the customer next door, who you're spraying clay and mud all over. Sad. 🤦

EDIT: Posting this video worked. The people involved have been in touch, they tell us they'll be down to apologise. We hope this deters further disrespectful behaviour. We have no qualms about naming and shaming.

We aren't the only local business owners putting up with this kind of behaviour. Theft, vandalism, literal daylight robbery is constant. We're just gonna keep posting bad behaviour coz we've had enough. Might even start a YouTube channel 😄

Washworks are hiring!!!
We are looking for a Maintenance All-Rounder for our self-service Car Wash facility in Silverdale.
Hours are 11am - 4pm Monday to Friday, while you learn the ropes, with potential for more.
You will be on your feet most of the day with some heavy lifting so you must be physically fit. This is a customer facing role so you’ll also have a positive, helpful attitude and be able to cope with frustrating situations.
Training on the job but a background in engineering and/or ability to use hand tools would be advantageous. Daily tasks include keeping the site clean and tidy, maintaining plant equipment (hoses & drains), helping customers.

Due to illegal dumping and excessive rubbish we will no longer keep forking out waste disposal fees. We no longer have bins onsite for public use. Please take your rubbish home with you.

We are only 500m away from the dump; that's where you can take your mattresses, tv's, gas cylinders, timber, unwanted clothes, broken furniture, paint tins etc. Dont dump trash in our yard. Cheers, Washworks Management.
