Thanks for sharing this project highlight, Atlas Concrete!
We love getting our teeth into complex jobs like this that help our local communities, working as part of a wider team to get it done.
Great efforts from Fulton Hogan, Atlas Concrete and Pioneer Concrete Pumps - a fantastic example of multiple contractors bringing their expertise together to deliver a challenging infrastructure project for the community. Thanks to everyone involved. 👏🤝

Oh no...
Not good...
What you are seeing here is tree roots getting their teeth into a wastewater system...
Left unchecked, they will build up and become more of a nuisance, causing costly repairs!
Wayne got stuck in today and chopped them out - yes, he got inside that green hole you see. We'll say it again - this job isn't for the fainthearted!! 💪

Most irrigation fields last around 7 years, but things like plant roots, livestock, or heavy use can cause trouble sooner than that.
We know it’s not the most exciting part of home maintenance 😁, but a quick assessment now could save a lot of stress later.
A healthy system should:
✔ Drain properly
✔ Keep your lawn dry on the surface
✔ Stay odour-free
If that’s not happening at your place, it’s worth getting it checked before it turns into a bigger issue.
