Digger detailing, How it started and how it’s going -
In 2022 I came up with a crazy idea, Digger Detailing! I was working in civil and earthworks at the time. The boss mentioned we needed to clean the 20t digger. Non of us had the time and nobody wanted do it, or come in on our day off to clean the digger. This was the lightbulb moment. I had a few weeks on the couch with an ankle injury, so I took this time to do some research and crunch some numbers. I set myself up with a truck and decided to have a go. I thought what’s the worst that could happen right? I sell up and go back to working for someone else?? It’s now 2026 and I’ve been operating for a few years now and cleaned a s**t load of machines. So this is a bit of an appreciation post for my loyal customers that have given me a chance and given me work over the years. Working for yourself is not easy. I’m basically on call 24/7 and the brain does not shut off. If I’m not cleaning machines, I’m thinking about cleaning machines. Trying to figure out how to improve, perfect, and be more efficient in all aspects of Digger Detailing. Digger Detailing will continue to strive for excellence and keep your machines clean sharp and looking the part. Cheers 🍻 Ryan b
