For a minor lifted seam, you can try a DIY fix with the right materials:

✓ Heat-activated carpet seam tape
✓ Household iron on low-medium heat
✓ Thin cloth or pillowcase
✓ Vacuum cleaner
✓ Seam roller or rolling pin
✓ Sharp scissors or utility knife

𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀:

✓ Gently lift the carpet edges and remove the old tape.
✓ Vacuum away dust and grit underneath.
✓ Centre fresh seam tape beneath the join.
✓ Cover with a thin cloth and heat in short sections.
✓ Press the edges together as the adhesive activates.
✓ Roll over the seam to flatten and secure the join.
✓ Brush the carpet pile to blend the fibres.
