This company painted our whole house and garages, unit last year outside.
I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional, very polite friendly service.

This morning, SPCA received a disturbing call regarding a deceased dog that was found in a carpark approximately 50m off of Breezes Road, Aranui, Christchurch (near the intersection of Breezes and Pages Roads).

The dog is a large adult, white, male, crossbreed dog, who was a much-loved pet named Polar.

A post mortem has revealed that Polar suffered a traumatic injury from a sharp object, approximately 20mm wide and at least 10cm long, that has penetrated his abdomen and caused him to die from blood loss.

Our thoughts go out to Polar’s family who are understandably devastated to lose their boy.

SPCA is utterly shocked and saddened by this event, and is seeking information from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour between 5.30am-7.30am in the aforementioned area this morning. Polar was a large white dog and he would have been easy to spot.

Free clothes for little ones!

Yes, you heard that right, here at Rachel's House all our clothes are free ranging from Prem - 5yo.

These have all been lovingly donated so we can hand them on to you.

So bring a bag (or we have some) and help yourself our Drop in centre is open four times a week Tuesday 10am-12pm, Wednesday 10am-12pm, Thursday 12pm - 2pm and Friday 10am-12pm
