Duties

1. Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries

2. Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms

3. Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests

4. Clean public areas, like corridors

5. Report any technical issues and maintenance needs

6. Address guests’ queries

7. Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift

8. Follow hotel security guidelines

Specific Requirement

1. Minimum secondary school is preferred

2. Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.

3. Flexible working hours.

4. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards

5. Physical mobility and stamina

6. Ability to follow instruction

7. Professional and polite

Job Description

Maintaining company cleaning SOPs and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures

Training and developing employees (cleaners)

Scheduling and assigning specific duties/roles to cleaners and also ensuring that they are carried out expertly

Inspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis so as to know when they are worn-out and also request for replacement

Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse

Providing any form of required assistance to cleaners while they carry out their duties.

Specific Skills Required
1. Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening

2. Must be outstanding when it comes to organization and coordination of both humans and their activities

3. Must display a high level of integrity to take care of people’s & working tool, materials & equipment

4. Excellent decision-making ability

5. Must be proactive in the line of duty

6. Should have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines/principles

7. Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures
